It's been a whole week of sickness. At least my throat isn't sore and my head isn't leaking as bad. This headache is driving me insane, though. Headaches are the worst. When I have a headache I can't work, I can't read, I can't exercise, I can't dive the net, I can't program, I can't play games, and I can't watch television. I can't do anything except lie in bed and stare at the ceiling. For me, it's purgatory.
Since it's New Comics Wednesday, I managed to brain-eat the new Avengers vs. X-Men tie-in, Avengers volume 4, issue #30, and the first two issues of Batman: Odyssey. There's so much crap going on in Batman: Odyssey, it makes me want to hurl. Or, maybe that's the headache.
So, I took a couple of Tylenol and two cans of Pepsi. After that, I felt up to watching some Clarissa Explains It All from Netflix. I feel a little bit strange being a thirty year-old man watching Clarissa Explains It All. That is, until I stopped giving a crap and realized that the writing is very clever and the show has aged well.
